It is with heavy hearts that we must officially announce the cancellation of the 2020 Gateway Festival due to COVID-19.

We know many of you have been expecting this announcement and we thank you for your patience through this difficult time. This has been an unprecedented challenge for our organization. With that said, our number one priority is everyone’s health of safety.

The cancellation will have a significant impact on our community but we are determined to overcome it. We will return July 23-25, 2021! Please save the date.

If you had already purchased tickets for 2020 we know you will have questions. We are here for you but we ask for your patience over the next 3 weeks as we work through inquiries and processing. We would like to ask you to consider donating your tickets to help our organization through this trying time or keeping your tickets and we will honour them 2021. We can offer a charitable tax receipt for donations. If you purchased physical tickets from a store please email gatewayfestivaltickets@gmail.com and we will ensure we find a scenario that best suits your interests. If you purchased tickets from our online ticket provider (Showpass.com) your tickets will automatically be transferred over to July 23-25, 2021. If you prefer a different solution please email us.

We must thank you again for your patience and understanding. We will miss all of you this summer, but we encourage everyone to practice social distancing and respect the government’s guidelines through the reopening phases. Location

BEAUTIFUL SOUTHERN SASK

The festival is located in the Bengough Regional Park at the south end of Main Street. Bengough is a small ranching and farming community just north of the historic Big Muddy Badlands. Reader's Digest recently listed the Big Muddy as 1 of 10 places in Canada that "every Canadian needs to visit."

Bengough is a 1.5 hr dive from both Regina and Moose Jaw. If you are travelling from the United States you will reach us just 30 minutes north of Scobey, Montana. The nearest international airport is located in Regina.

Camping

AVAILABLE ON SITE

Camping is run by the Bengough parks board. Electric campsites are sold out for 2020. However, there is LOTS of space remaining and sites are available on a first come/first serve basis. The cost is $15 per night and the gates open for camping at 1:00 on Wednesday, July 22, 2020

Camp sites are located next to the festival grounds and provide access to hot showers and washrooms, an outdoor swimming pool, a cook shack, and the golf course. Sites are conveniently divided into 'Family', 'Quiet', and 'Party' zones to help best match your weekend plans. Full power sites are completely sold out for 2019 but there is endless overflow camping with site selection on a first come/first serve basis upon your arrival. FOOD TRUCKS & ARTISANS

Gateway Festival is pleased to host a variety of food trucks, vendors, and artisans on the festival grounds. Keep your eyes peeled, we will be posting a complete list of vendors in the coming weeks. To apply as an artisan or food vendor please send an email to gatewayfestivalvendors@gmail.com

If you forget anything you may need the festival is just a five minute walk from downtown Bengough which offers a grocery store, Bengough Drugs, and many other local businesses. It is also where you find the famed outdoor pool.
